  • WE ARE YOUR EYES IN THE ARTWORLD

    DISCOVER THE ARTISTS OF DEMAIN

  • HOW IT ALL STARTED

We are active in the local art scene.
At the time of the first confinement, the artists suffer from the lack of visibility while many in our network are thinking of acquiring a first work. So we embarked on a new adventure and created Demain Art, a digital platform connecting Belgium-based artists with collectors and artlovers.

By doing so, we wish to contribute to the dynamism of the local art scene and make quality art accessible to all. We hope to be recognized for unearthing up-and-coming talent and offering quality works at accessible prices. We also offer made-to-measure service to accompany you in finding the right art work, so don't hesitate to contact us!

  • Sophie Varin represented by Galerie Sultana
Sophie Varin represented by Galerie Sultana

We are beyond proud of Sophie Varin for joining Galerie Sultana in Paris. The gallery enjoys an excellent international reputation thanks to its qualitative programme of artists and its participation in fairs such as Frieze New York, Frieze London, ARCO Madrid and Artissima in Turin. Congratulations Sophie!

Sophie Varin started working with DEMAIN in september 2020. Our aim is to boost the career of emerging artists who are net yet represented by a gallery, by briding the gab with art lovers, curators and gallerists.

Sophie Varin’s paintings and sculptures focus on social life and and how it often means a negociation between what you would like to see of others, and what you would like to hide of yourself. Depicting seemingly banal situations, her works create ambiguous scenarios where an apparent familiarity shows a twisted face.  Sophie gives a great importance to the gaze of the observer, the witness, the public. Especially how curiosity, desire or fantasy have the ability to modulate what is seen. This distorted gaze, too thirsty to remain rational, is projecting so many blurred scenarios onto the real.
