We're pleased to invite you to our upcoming exhibition in Antwerp, SUMMUM, created in collaboration with Leonet Hoang and presented in the iconic setting of Kolveniershof.

During the first two weeks of December we will present a duoshow of Sofie Steegen and Klaas op de Beeck.

ABOUT KOLVENIERSHOF

Welcome to the Kolveniershof, a unique event space in the heart of Antwerp, located right next to the Rubens House. Rooted in the city’s rich past, the Kolveniers Guild was founded in 1490 as the youngest of Antwerp’s six civic guard guilds, named after the early firearms, clovers, its members once used. In the 16th century, the guild established its shooting grounds along the Wapper.

In 1610, the guild welcomed an extraordinary neighbour: Peter Paul Rubens. Not long after settling here, Rubens was commissioned to create the now-iconic Descent from the Cross, a masterpiece that still resides in the Cathedral of Our Lady. Historically, this was also the place where Rubens gathered with Antwerp’s elite for celebrations, feasts, and banquets.

Today, the Kolveniershof continues that tradition of bringing people together. Enter through the garden of the Rubens House and discover an atmospheric venue that can welcome up to 140 guests for lectures, receptions, dinners, and cultural events.
